Leadership
Ca-Asia A. Lane is a scholar, author and a lifelong civil servant. As an academic researcher, she uses dance and leadership to disrupt the social norms of leadership roles within the culture of dance ministry. Ca-Asia is an advocate for leadership development within ecclesial, government and public-private communities. She currently works in Washington DC as a congressional advisor and is the author of several books including Changing the Dance, Leadership Nuggets for Dance Ministry Leaders.

Course Description:
This course covers a micro and mid-range introduction to the field of leadership studies, to include Christian, Servant, and Authentic leadership theories applicable to artistry, faith-based and multi-cultural contexts. The course will take a look at the leader as influencer, followership, and leadership resources and tools that will strengthen leadership core and development. Students will also examine biblical Christian principles related to leadership which is the foundation for this course.
